In the sense of not being funny at all, racism and discrimination can be hilarious.
For instance, there is a viral video where they start out by saying, “Everybody say sausage. Keep it going…” And it’s funny. One part on the video goes like this:
[vsw id=”oB8u8Du8wEE” source=”youtube” width=”425″ height=”344″ autoplay=”no”]
THIS VIDEO IS NSFW!!
White Girl: I’m a red head and & I still get the sausage.
Black Guy: I’m a Gay Nigg**, but I still get the sausage.
I admit to the video being funny /catchy, but something put me on edge.
It was the usage of the n-word. A common but unnecessary slang word used today by teens.
Next thing I know, parody’s surfaced. One of these by my own classmates. And, this white girl, who shall not be named, said the n-word.
It disgusted me to no end.
The school I go to prides itself on being diverse and a place for everybody. There are 7 African American kids.
Somehow 7 African American kids translates to those rich white children that they are not being racist.
Honestly, I don’t know much about the topic, just that it’s not a joke.
