‘Why Fecal Matters’ is poetic comic critique to how to we (Americans) are so bent on being consumers that it’s hurting us. And the damages will last for centuries after we are gone. What inspired me to write the poem was for a short time I had this fascination with poop. And questions kept lending themselves to another question.
- Why don’t we just use our poop to fertilize the ground?
- Is our poop toxic?
- Then what are we doing with our toxic poop?!
The answers were terrifying and inspiring in a weird way.
Why Fecal Matters
Hence, ‘Why Fecal Matters’ came to be. Enjoy….
