Additionally, several photo and production studios have sprouted up in Houston neighborhoods, all inspiring photographers, stylists, and models to team up and let their creativity run wild.
Each space has something unique to offer, ranging from unique lighting to equipment and pricing.
It can be difficult to determine which studio is best for you, but this guide will assist you in locating the ideal photo studio.
1. Lifestyle Photoshoot in the Montrose Area
This is a 1000-square-foot photography studio located in the Midtown area of Houston, Texas. Lighting, a luxury kitchen, a minimalist living area, a makeup vanity, a variety of colored backdrops, and other amenities are included in the lifestyle studio rental.
The exterior of the building may be photographed, but no staging area is available. The studio is neat and simple to use. Bookings are limited to a maximum of 8 people.
Renting Fee: $90 /hr. 1 hr. minimum
Operating Days: Sunday- Thursday 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM
2. Pink Noir House
This is a fantastic studio with creative space. Shoots can take place both inside and outside the studio. The exterior is appealing, with a topiary giraffe and a grass tuft. In addition, there are features such as a pink bedroom with vanity and a love couch, a red bedroom with Xo neon sign and vanity, a Tiffany blue living room with white carpet and mantle, and a retro kitchen with red and pink appliances inside the studio.
There is also a small area for changing and makeup.
The studio is not wheelchair accessible, has no dressing room, and lacks lighting equipment. Bookings are limited to a maximum of 10 people.
Renting Fee: $100 /hr. 1 hr. minimum
Operating Days: Monday- Sunday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
3. NSR LOFT 2
Natural Light is conveniently located on the outskirts of Houston. This studio has beautiful indoor lighting as well as an amazing outdoor space. They are located in downtown Houston’s easily accessible warehouse district.
The studio is surrounded by art galleries, original exposed brick/wood beams, a lovely downtown view, and delicious food nearby for after-session meetings or lunch breaks.
The studio is accessible by wheelchair, has natural light that can be blocked out, a staging area, and a dressing room. Bookings are limited to a maximum of 10 people.
Parking is free, but you should not park in the garage or any commercial zones or zones with red meters because you will be towed.
Renting Fee: $75 /hr. 2 hr. minimum (10% off with 8 Hour full day booking)
Operating Days: Monday- Sunday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
4. Neon Themed TV Studio
This studio has a one-of-a-kind space for creatives. The interior design is based on a neon room theme. The studio interior features a wall of 6FT tall televisions that all turn on, a phone booth with a phone, a red neon cross and dollar sign, a pink brick wall with luxury designer neons, and an open space for music and dance videos.
Unless otherwise directed, no smoking in the building or moving furniture.
The studio welcomes children of all ages, and parking is free.
Renting Fee: $75 /hr. 2 hr. minimum
Operating Days: Monday- Sunday, 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
5. Two-Story Clock Tower and Natural Light Studio
The first and second floors are dedicated to private offices. The studios are accessed via stairs, and the building is not wheelchair accessible or equipped with an elevator.
The third floor houses a natural light studio complete with backdrops. The fourth floor houses the historically built Clock Tower. Guests are only permitted to use these two floors during their rentals.
Bathroom and kitchen access are among the amenities available in the studio. One full-length mirror, Self-Service Water Mini-Fridge Microwave Flex Area / Seating, among others.
You are instructed not to arrive earlier than the scheduled rental time, decorate any of the areas with glitter or confetti, or smoke or vape.

6. Photography & Creative Studio
Our studio is a 1200-square-foot creative canvas with natural light in the heart of North Houston. An all-inclusive, elegant, affordable rental studio for creating, hosting, and connecting.
This studio has complimentary professional strobe lighting, modern furniture, a speaker, Wi-Fi, plenty of parking, backdrops, a green hedge wall, a restroom, and much more.
North-facing 10ft glass windows provide lovely diffused natural light. The full black-out curtains can also be used to black out the studio completely.
The host offers optional add-ons such as a Black Throne Chair ($50.00 flat fee) and a Studio Assistant ($20.00/hour).
Renting Fee: $60 /hr. 1 hr. minimum

7. Aqua Noir Studio
This cool studio can accommodate up to ten people at once. The blue flooring gives off pool vibes even when there is no water in the pool. In addition, it has decorative features such as white travertine flooring, a rock wall design with a lounge chair, a pergola design with white curtains & sitting, hanging chair pots, and greenery to tie the room together.
They have open parking with a handicapped ramp.
There is no Wi-Fi, no elevators, and no dressing room, and the studio is not wheelchair accessible.
Renting Fee: $75 /hr. 2 hr. minimum

8. Modern Upscale Space w/ Downtown Skyline View
This studio is 1000 square feet and can accommodate up to 12 people. The studio has a large 16′ window with natural light and a view of the downtown skyline, a 75″ TV with HDMI wall plate inputs for a variety of devices, contemporary upscale furniture, a Nintendo entertainment system, a shower + private restroom, audio system with surround sound, full kitchen with oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher 20′ ceilings.
Optional add-ons from the host include image retouching and color correction ($10.00/item) and an in-house photographer ($75.00/hour).
Renting Fee: $85 /hr. 2 hr. minimum

9. 7 sets in 1 & Creative Loft Space
The studio is located in the heart of Houston. A content creator created this space for other content creators. It has a one-of-a-kind loft space with masterfully designed sets, ideal for any photo shoot or video reel! Beautiful room with pristine furniture and plenty of natural light.
This studio is ideal for photo shoots and video production. The studio has a 25-foot ceiling, two north-facing windows, and plenty of controllable overhead lighting.
The “Christmas minis” setup is available for $25 additional amount from October 17 to October 25. However, it is available for free on their website, www.theblankcanvasspace.com.
No pets, music video production, or guns/weapons are permitted in the studio.

10. Black and White Studio
This is one of Houston’s most popular private studios, with a maximum capacity of 18 guests. The studio is in Pearland, Texas, just south of Houston. The studio is air-conditioned and features an all-white 20×20 room and an all-black 20×20 room with free, easy-to-use lighting.
There will be no nudity, smoking, or people under the age of 17 yrs.
Renting Fee: $50 /hr. 2 hr. minimum
