Whether you are looking for lunch, coffee, dessert or a late night snack, if you are out on the roads, you might see one of these brightly painted food trucks that might call your name to stop and try some of their delicacies. Although there are plenty of Houston food trucks out there, we are going to tell you about some Houston food trucks worth finding on the streets and where you can spot them.

If you have kept up with our Instagram page, where we tend to post all our foodie outings, you know we are a big fan of waffle and wings, and that is why The Waffle Bus has made our list of Houston food trucks worth finding. Outstanding is one word to describe the menu, which consists of sweet waffle sandwiches, savory waffle sandwiches, and our favorite, waffles and wings, plus more, but the website also has an updated list of where you can find this deliciousness on the streets of Houston, and they are out on the town until 3 am for those of you who want an after bar snack.
How can you not want to eat at a food truck with a name like Happy Endings? Hot dogs with a multicultural twist, but we suggest the fusion fries, which are downright yummy! You can have your own Happy Ending by going to their website where they have a calendar that shows where they are going to be, so be sure to put this down as one of the Houston food trucks to visit.
Who doesn’t love a grilled cheese sandwich? The Golden Grill is one of those Houston food trucks that serves them up in all kinds of fantastic ways, but always dripping with cheese. Don’t forget the tomato soup on the side and you will be good to go. The Golden Grill food truck has an excellent website that shows their schedule right on the home page, and yes, you can get your grilled cheese fix late night!
With Monster PBJ, you can find your inner kid and have some gourmet peanut butter and jelly sandwiches from this fab food truck. Go custom, vegetarian or even gluten free, this truck has it all, as long as it revolves around the old standby PBJ, which isn’t a standby with this Houston food truck. Miso Yummy is so yummy. This is one of those Houston food trucks that serves it up a bit differently than the others. Sushi, ramen and hot dogs with a Vietnamese and Korean twist and it is delicious. What do you get when you mix Korean and Mexican food together? Oh My Gogi! This food truck has the best Korean food with just a dash of Mexican flavor thrown in for good measure to make your mouth water. Try the tacos and quesadillas or the burgers with kimchi and you will definitely go back for more and scour the streets for this Houston food truck. When it comes to Houston food trucks, we can’t leave out the trucks that sell desserts. Custom Confections Food Truck is run by a husband and wife team, and the one thing you must try is the ice cream stuffed cupcakes called Frosty Bites, but everything on the menu is delicious and sugary sweet. When you take homemade cookies and you SMOOSH ice cream between them to get a big huge ice cream sandwich that you design, you are standing outside of SMOOSH food truck. If you really want to go all out, then add some toppings, and you will be in heaven. These are seriously the best ice cream sandwiches you will ever have in your life, and if you don’t do ice cream, just get the cookies, because those by themselves make SMOOSH food truck well worth finding on the streets of Houston.
As the weather is going to be heating up, search for the Houston food trucks that are serving shaved ice, like Friohana Shave Ice. Their Hawaiian shaved ice is thinner, fluffier and similar to cotton candy. All the syrups are homemade from their own recipes, and they use real fruit blended into their flavors.
