Today, we are going to talk about real inspiration and how to achieve that on a daily basis with empowerment and well being. We all have times of stress, and when we feel that stress, it is vital that we have ways to maintain our empowerment and well-being. On a daily basis, we tend to put ourselves last most of the time. But we need to remember to put ourselves first, not just during times of stress, but also during the good times. If we don’t take care of ourselves, who will?
At J-Vibe, we make it a practice to count our blessings. We believe this is a key factor in maintaining well-being, health and happiness. It also reminds us that life is never as bad as we think it is and that things could always be worse. We have included some ways to help you with your empowerment and emotional well-being. Practice them daily. It doesn’t take much time and watch as your life blossoms right before your eyes.
Empowerment and Well-Being
Walk 10 to 30 minutes every day. We all know that walking is good for your heart, lungs and overall health, but it also boosts your energy level, reduces your stress level and makes you happy! So, lace up your sneakers and go outside and take a walk…and leave your cell phone at home if you can. Love your body and respect it.
Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes every day. We know this isn’t an easy task. There are kids to look after, work to be done and dinners to be made, but if you just take that time, even if it’s before everyone wakes up in the morning, it will clear your mind and soul and get you ready for the day.
Listen to good music every day: it is true food for the spirit. Dance like there’s no tomorrow and sing at the top of your lungs.
Live with the 3 E’s: Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy. And, do this with the 4th E…Everyday. Only YOU are in charge of your own happiness.
Look at the sky at least once a day and realize what a magnificent world we live in. Life is beautiful – enjoy it while you can.
Dream more while you are awake! Smile and laugh more. Enjoy life – you only have one opportunity, make the best of it.
Eat more natural foods. Eat berries and nuts and drink green tea, lots of water and a glass of wine each day (make sure to make a toast to the bounty in your life, and do it with someone whose company you love).
Smile at people for no reason when you pass them by. Say Hello to a stranger, hold the door open for someone you don’t know and help someone with their groceries.
Eliminate disorder in your home, your car and your desk, and let new energy flow into your life. Get rid of everything that is not useful, beautiful or fun. Remember that you are too blessed to be stressed.
Don’t waste your precious time gossiping or regretting the past or in negative thoughts or in worrying about things beyond your control. Life is too short. Better to convert your energy in that what is positive in the present. Make peace with your past so you won’t ruin your present.
Realize that life is a school. Problems are life lessons from which you learn. Remember that you don’t always have control over what happens, but you do have control over what you do with the experience. And, no matter how good or bad the situation is, it will change. Learn something new every day.
Don’t miss any opportunity to hug somebody you appreciate. Call your family often and send them messages saying that you are thinking of them. Have wonderful friends.
Don’t take yourself too seriously!
