2. Stevenson Park
Stevenson Park, near the town’s firehouse, has a splash pad, jogging trail, tennis court, sand volleyball court, basketball court, various playgrounds, and a pool.

This attraction is family-friendly, pet-friendly, free/cheap, and a great place to go on a date.

3. Perry House
This is Friendswood’s oldest house, built in 1902 by Nathan and Mary Perry using wood salvaged from the Galveston Hurricane. The house had fallen into disuse and was donated to the Historical Society by the family. It is now fully restored and furnished with many period antiques and some early twentieth-century pieces. It is free to enter and suitable for children.
They’re only open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and by appointment.
Pro tip: Call ahead to ensure they’re open, as the volunteers who run it only sometimes show up.

4. Oxnard Park
Oxnard Park has a picnic area, a nature trail, and a playground. The nature trail at the park takes visitors on a walk or jog along Clear Creek.
Several wide gravelled walking paths lead down through the tall-tree woods to Clear Creek’s edge. Approximately one acre of open grassy green space. It is a super cool kid’s playscape. There’s also a gazebo with plenty of seating.

7. Kemah Boardwalk
The Kemah Boardwalk is located just 20 miles from downtown Houston. It is home to fabulous waterfront restaurants, amusements, charming retail stores, festivals, and seaside shows.
They have shops, live music, and festivals. You can spend the night at the Boardwalk Inn or go on a dinner cruise on their yacht, the Boardwalk FantaSea.
You can also fly on the Aviator, drop 140 feet on the Drop Zone, soar on the Iron Eagle Zipline, play midway games, or take a speedboat thrill ride.

8. iLovekickboxing Friendswood
This is an excellent location for a great workout to unwind after a long day.
They have classes six days a week, but your schedule determines the number of classes you take.
Unfortunately, in the studios, there are no areas for children.
Following each iLoveKickboxing class, you’ll receive an email that summarizes your workout, including total calories burned, class points, zone summary, and more.
Although most classes have about 90% females, anyone is welcome to work out.

9. Bayou Wildlife Zoo
Visitors to Bayou Wildlife Zoo can see and feed animals from around the world in an 80-acre (32.4-hectare) natural habitat. There are animals from 19 countries, including Africa, Asia, Australia, and North and South America. Visitors can enjoy the petting zoo, gift shop, pony rides, and picnic area. Take a tram ride to see all of the available animals. Banteng cattle, white rhinoceroses, barasingha deer, ring-tailed lemurs, Bactrian camels, addaxes (screw horn antelope), and scimitar-horned oryx are among the more than 500 animals and 60 bird species found here.

10. Psc Shooting Club
Psc Shooting Club in Friendswood is the place to be this weekend if you want to go shooting. This club, founded in 1966 and is one of the best shooting clubs in town, is an ideal place to spend time with family and friends. There are over 3000 members in the club. The club has several shooting ranges that extend up to 300 yards, allowing you to practice any type of shooting. Members can use the club’s facilities and services at any time during the week. They also host various special events, such as matches, leagues, and educational programs open to the public. Training programs led by outstanding instructors are also available.
