Friendswood City Hall houses the Veterans Memorial, which has been open to the public since 2010. Friendswood has created a fitting tribute to show gratitude and respect for these brave veterans, many of whom have served and made the ultimate sacrifice.

The Memorial has continued to inspire visitors, particularly the thousands of veterans, their families, and friends who attend the annual Memorial Day ceremony.

2. Stevenson Park

Stevenson Park, near the town’s firehouse, has a splash pad, jogging trail, tennis court, sand volleyball court, basketball court, various playgrounds, and a pool.

This is Friendswood’s oldest house, built in 1902 by Nathan and Mary Perry using wood salvaged from the Galveston Hurricane. The house had fallen into disuse and was donated to the Historical Society by the family. It is now fully restored and furnished with many period antiques and some early twentieth-century pieces. It is free to enter and suitable for children.

They’re only open on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and by appointment.

They have shops, live music, and festivals. You can spend the night at the Boardwalk Inn or go on a dinner cruise on their yacht, the Boardwalk FantaSea.

You can also fly on the Aviator, drop 140 feet on the Drop Zone, soar on the Iron Eagle Zipline, play midway games, or take a speedboat thrill ride.

They have classes six days a week, but your schedule determines the number of classes you take.

Unfortunately, in the studios, there are no areas for children.

Following each iLoveKickboxing class, you’ll receive an email that summarizes your workout, including total calories burned, class points, zone summary, and more.

There are animals from 19 countries, including Africa, Asia, Australia, and North and South America. Visitors can enjoy the petting zoo, gift shop, pony rides, and picnic area. Take a tram ride to see all of the available animals. This club, founded in 1966 and is one of the best shooting clubs in town, is an ideal place to spend time with family and friends. There are over 3000 members in the club. The club has several shooting ranges that extend up to 300 yards, allowing you to practice any type of shooting. Members can use the club’s facilities and services at any time during the week.
